Con Gusto's non-refundable 24 hour Cancellation Policy
An important message to our diners: We have brought out a non refundable cancellation fee of £20 per person for bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours notice which is implemented through Open Table. Unfortunately this is strictly imposed and we do not make exceptions.
Where is this cancellation policy announced?
This is announced on our website at the bookings section and at the bottom of the site. It is also on the Open Table Site when making a booking with us as a note from the restaurant, under the terms and conditions when supplying the card details, and lastly in the confirmation email giving you the exact time you can cancel without being charged. You are also given a reminder about your booking. It is also occasionally advertised on social media.
Why do we have the policy?
As most of you are aware we are a very small restaurant with just 9 tables and due to a large amount of cancellations we have found it necessary to implement this policy as these last minute cancellations were proving extremely damaging for us as we do not have a site which sees much passing traffic but depends on bookings.
It is devastating for us to tell diners we are fully booked and then see the the restaurant half empty as a result of no-shows. We hope you understand our reasoning for this and appreciate your continued support.
